Beginning Wreck Diver is an SSI course for the recreational diver who feels ready for wreck dives. We'll cover the equipment, skills, and techniques needed to stay safe while exploring wrecks of various sorts from the outside. Be sure to stop in well before Aug.3 to get your name on the roster and to
pick up your course manual. Cost is $135. |

Southern Channel Islands Liveaboard Trip |
Diving in the kelp forests around the Channel Islands is a unique experience. The rocks are overlaid with brightly colored bouquets of anemones, starfish, and garlands of hydrocoral, sponges, and sea fans. Moray eels, octopus, abalone, scallops, lobsters, and a host of others inhabit rock fissures and
crevices. We board the boat Tuesday evening (the 18th), motor through the night, dive all day Wed/Thurs/Fri as we move North, dive Saturday morning, then head back to port that afternoon. $625 for club members, $675 non-members. |
